Player Centered

The University of Alberta's Green & Gold Soccer Academy aims to provide a coaching process that is based on solid youth development coaching principles delivered by our professional coaches utilizing superior soccer facilities.  Strict adherence to the Canadian Soccer Association's Long Term Player Development (LTPD) model is applied.

Academy training offerings are available for individuals and teams with a Winter Session (Jan-Mar), Spring Session (Apr-June) and a Fall Session (Sep-Nov).  Feature Team Training is also available.

Vimy Soccer, offered in partnership with the University of Alberta’s Green & Gold Soccer Academy, is designed for student-athletes in grades 7-12 who are looking for a player-centered development program within a nurturing and caring learning environment aimed at developing autonomous, creative players who have a greater understanding of the game.

The International Program offers a unique opportunity for academy prospects, boys and girls, to travel to Europe or within North America for high-level competition, exposure to the professional game, and training with professional coaches from some of soccer's premier club academies. 

Golden Bears and Pandas in partnership with the Green & Gold Sport System are proud to offer a variety of camps throughout the year to serve a wide range of ages and skill levels.
